Africa Prosperity Network 2026
Empowering SMEs, Women & Youth in Africa’s Single Market: Innovate. Collaborate. Trade.
The future of Africa is not waiting for a handout; it’s being built daily by the SMEs, women, and young people who embody the continent’s entrepreneurial hustle.
The Africa Prosperity Dialogues (APD) 2026, hosted in Accra, Ghana, is set to be the pivotal platform where this powerful demographic moves from the periphery to the absolute center of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) agenda.
If you are a policymaker, investor, entrepreneur, or advocate dedicated to unlocking the world's largest single market, this is where ambition turns into actionable strategy.
The Core Theme: Innovate. Collaborate. Trade.
The APD 2026 runs under the bold and necessary theme: “Empowering SMEs, Women & Youth in Africa's Single Market: Innovate. Collaborate. Trade.”
This theme is a direct challenge to the status quo. These three groups represent the engine room of the African economy:
SMEs: They account for 80% of employment and half of the continent's GDP. Yet, most struggle to trade across one border, let alone 54.
Women: Contributing nearly 50% of Africa’s labor force, women are disproportionately excluded from accessing critical finance and trade networks. Closing this gender gap could boost intra-African commerce by 15% annually.
Youth: Representing 60% of Africa’s population, our young innovators are the continent’s most valuable dividend, but they need the infrastructure and opportunities to scale their creativity into continental markets.
APD 2026 is designed to bridge the gap between continental vision and daily reality, ensuring the AfCFTA framework works for the people who need it most.
Beyond the Talk: Launching the Borderless Movement
The Dialogues are much more than a three-day summit—they are the launchpad for a historic, continental movement.
At APD 2026, the Africa Prosperity Network (APN) will officially launch the “Make Africa Borderless Now!” campaign. This is a massive, year-long, youth-led civic mobilization effort aiming to secure 10 million signatures demanding the full implementation of key AfCFTA protocols.
What is the petition demanding?
Visa-Free Travel: For Africans across Africa.
Mobile Money Interoperability (PAPSS): Enabling Africans to buy and sell across borders using mobile money wallets in their own currency.
Single African Air Transport Market (SAATM): Making air travel cheaper and more accessible across the continent.
Attendees will be among the first to join this movement, contributing their voices and expertise to the 12-point agenda that will be presented to African Heads of State at the African Union Summit in 2027.
What to Expect in Accra (February 4–6, 2026)
The three days at the Accra International Conference Centre will feature:
Actionable Workshops: Focused sessions on SME Financing for Growth and leveraging Digital Assets for regional trade.
High-Level Dialogues: Direct discussions with political and business leaders on removing non-tariff trade barriers.
The APCA 2026 Grand Finale: The summit concludes with the prestigious Africa Prosperity Champions Awards (APCA) and Presidential Gala Dinner, celebrating the industrialists, women, and youth who are already driving Africa’s prosperity.
This is not a space for observation; it is a platform for participation. Join the movement, contribute to the policy, and secure the partnerships needed to trade freely across a truly borderless Africa.
