- Funding range: CHF 100,000 - 4 million (staff, research costs, collaboration, outreach)
- Equipment support: Up to CHF 300,000 for instruments and durable materials—with 50% co-funding above CHF 100,000

- Researchers based at Swiss institutions, with postdoc experience (≥4 years after PhD) and ≥50% research roles
- Projects can include African partners, who can join SNSF funding schemes via bilateral options
