Apply for the Agri‑Business Facility for Africa (ABF) Funding

Are you a young or emerging agripreneur in an OACPS (African, Caribbean & Pacific States) country with an innovative idea for the cocoa, maize, cashew or livestock value chain? Then you won’t want to miss this game-changing opportunity from ABF and its partners: free training, funding and mentoring.

Unlock real support for agribusiness

The initiative invites agripreneurs aged 18 and above based in OACPS member states to submit ideas in the value chains of cocoa, maize, cashew, or livestock (cattle, sheep, goats). Participation in the required online courses is completely free of charge. There are no entry fees.

Winners receive tangible support, including:

  • €2,000 direct funding to boost your business.
  • A laptop, tablet or software to strengthen your operations.
  • Expert mentoring, training, and incubation support.
  • Access to *financial institutions and networks to take your business further.

Build skills and readiness

Even if you’re at the startup stage, the free online curriculum helps you sharpen your business model and climate-smart practices. Completing the learning pathway helps you become “investment-ready”, which is critical in agribusiness, where pivoting from idea to sustainable venture is often a challenge.

Access to capital & networks

A €2,000 kick-start plus hardware, mentoring plus links to financial institutions means this isn’t just a contest; it’s a support ecosystem. That kind of backing can make the difference between concept and execution in agribusiness.
