Africa is not just a consumer of technology; it is a laboratory for global digital solutions. From mobile money to climate-smart agriculture, African innovators are rewriting the rules of development.
To capture and scale this momentum, the UNDP Resilience Hub for Africa has officially launched an Expression of Interest (EOI) for the African Digital Transformation Solution Forum. This isn’t just another tech event—it is a catalytic platform designed to identify, spotlight, and scale digital innovations that build a more resilient and inclusive continent.

Why This Forum Matters
Despite the rapid digital growth across 46 Sub-Saharan countries, many of the most effective solutions remain localized or underfunded. The UNDP Resilience Hub for Africa aims to bridge this gap. By bringing together governments, startups, private-sector leaders, and researchers, the Forum creates a pathway for home-grown digital tools to address continental challenges like climate change, displacement, and fragile governance.
Who Should Apply?
UNDP is looking for a diverse range of stakeholders who are actively shaping the digital landscape in Africa:
Digital Innovators & Startups: Tech enterprises with scalable products.
Public Sector Institutions: Government bodies leading digital transformation.
Research & Academic Institutions: The brains behind the next big tech breakthrough.
Civil Society Organizations: Groups driving digital inclusion for the most vulnerable.
Development Partners: Organizations looking to invest in and support scalable tech.
Focus Areas for Impact
Is your solution moving the needle in any of these critical sectors?
E-Governance: Improving public service delivery and transparency.
Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI): Building the "rails" for digital IDs, payments, and data exchange.
Climate-Smart Tools: Digital early warning systems and resilience-building technologies.
Digital Inclusion & Skills: Bridging the divide for youth, women, and marginalized groups.
Cross-Border Digital Trade: Strengthening the AfCFTA and regional integration.
How to Get Involved
The Forum is set to take place in 2026, but the work begins now. Participating in the EOI is your first step toward gaining visibility, securing partnerships, and potentially scaling your solution across the continent.
Deadline for Submissions: January 9, 2026
Action: Review the full EOI and submit your interest via the official UNDP portal.
Africa’s digital future is being built today by those who refuse to let challenges stand in the way of innovation. If you are one of them, the UNDP wants to hear from you.
