The Three-Month Journey: Blending Research with Practice
The fellowship is structured in two powerful phases:
Phase 1 (Remote): Fellows begin by developing and submitting a detailed research plan and introduction for their 7,000-word paper. This phase ensures the research project is robust and well-defined.
Phase 2 (AJMN Headquarters): Researchers travel to the Al Jazeera Media Network Headquarters to continue their work.
